How to judge a quality shirt

As well as being made with a double twine fabric our shirts are particular regarding detail thus making them unique

Take a look at the characteristics…

Sewing of side seams: This is done with two separate stitchings one at a time and not with a double needle machine as generally done in mass production.

Buttons : are in Trocas mother-of-pearl 2 mm. thick (not plastic as generally used).

Sewing with 8 stitches to every centimetre: for every cm of seam there are 8 “strikes” of the needle. The more stitches per cm. the more resistant is the seam and therefore better is the quality of the finished product.

Removable collar stay: the collar has two small openings for inserting the stays in order to keep its form.

Pattern positioning: A Quality shirt is noted for the matching of the fabric pattern on the sleeve and shoulder; this is a difficult task so that a high quality product will have this feature.

Carré: The part covering the shoulder gives the best look when cut and sewn separately from the rest of the shirt.

The triangular reinforcement: placed between the front and the back of the shirt avoids tearing of the sides.
